Success or Failure

A lesson every salesperson must learn is that we must persist even when it is difficult. When we experience defeat and rejection, the easiest and most logical thing to do is to quit.

However, if you we give up during the struggle, we will never experience sales success. The formula for success is trying until we succeed. With this view there are no failures only those who quit before success.

How many tries do you give a baby to learn to walk? Do you give him five tries or fifty tries and after that say enough? “You failed a hundred times, no more trying to walk for you.” Is that how we do it? No. We encourage the young to try until he or she walks. It is a formula that works and so everyone learns to walk.
