Alan worked for ten years as a senior sales training consultant with one of the worlds leading automotive consulting companies. Besides working throughout the UK he has worked with sales teams in America, Australia, Germany, Belgium and France.
In the role as a senior consultant to one of the worlds leading manufacturers, Alan and his colleagues were able to use access to hundreds of dealerships across the Europe, America and beyond. This gave them the opportunity to study the real world problems faced by dealers and their sales teams.
Perhaps the most striking aspect of this research was identifying the key selling barriers unique to the automotive industry. Also the solutions to overcome those barriers worked every market.
